Bestway Grammar Academy is a Ghanaian private owned educational institution with a cherished history and culture firmly rooted in passionate promotion of quality education.
It is located at Santa Maria a suburb of Accra. The school was established on 20th January, 1997 with a student population of (8).
As a result of recruiting the best qualified teachers , the school began to receive recognition for its commitment to high standards and excellent academic performance. This attracted many people and shortly the student population increased . Hence, the need to expand the classroom infrastructure.
After a couple of years, the Junior High School (JHS) department was added . The school worked in line with its motto :” Perseverance overcomes difficulties.” Now, Bestway Grammar Academy stands tall in the areas of Academic work, Discipline, Extra Curricular Activities and has a serene environment for learning.

In 2010, the received a remarkable award for performing in Fun World at National Theatre. In 2015, the school came first in Science in the Educational Innovators of Ghana (EIG) seminar. The school’s cadet on 6th March, 2016 came 2nd in the March past organized among Junior High and Senior High Schools within the Ga – Central Municipality. Just last month (June 2017), the school w3as awarded marvellously for coming first in the High School ICT competition, an initiative by Tech for everyone.
We counsel our students on career goals whilst assessing pupils’ individual developmental and educational needs, psychological and physical abilities, and environmental factors which have impact on their functioning in a nursery school, secondary or higher educational institution.
Bestway club activities have seen tremendous improvement. Cadet, Drama, Choir, Debate, Red Cross , Girl Guides, Science and Culture. Children on the programme have proven beyond our expectation. The cardet has won several competitions such as 6th march Parade at the Ga central district level, champions of the Tech for everyone initiative in 2018, and so many others.
We provide scholarships to brilliant, needy and deserving students.
We have a very low student failure ratio over the years and we have some awards to show.
Over the years, Bestway has chalked a lot of successes in the area of academics through sports and parades to outstanding personal developments and achievements. The school can boast of awards in a lot of performances and quizzes.
